Eric Clapton - 2013 UK Tour

Celebrating his 50th year as a musician, Eric Clapton announced back in 2012 a number of concerts in UK with five nights at Royal Albert Hall in London. The shows, also celebrate the release of his new album after a year of studio work.

He started singing in 1963, when he began an amazing career as a professional musician, with numerous albums, sold out concerts all over the world, alone or joining bands. For the 2013 World Tour he gathered a band that includes his touring partners such as Doyle Bramhall II (guitar), Steve Jordan (drums), Chris Stainton (piano and keyboards), and Willie Weeks (bass), along with newcomers Paul Carrack (organ and keyboards) and Greg Leisz (pedal steel guitar).

Michelle John and Sharon White will join the touring band again as backing vocalists. Eric Clapton will start his UK Tour in Birmingham, on the LG Arena on May 13, moving on to Manchester Arena on May 14, and ending with 5 nights at the Royal Albert Hall between May 17 and May 23.

Tickets for the legendary guitarist’s shows for 2013 were available for the public since Friday, September 21. There is a limit of 6 tickets per person and only few remained available until now.
